Terminous Selected in Hurun China AI Enterprises Top 50 List

Recently, the well-known research organization Hurun Report released the "2024 Hurun China AI Enterprises Top 50" list. As a leading enterprise in the AIoT field, Terminus was honored to be included in this list for its continuous innovative practices in promoting the application of field models in public domain scenarios. Other renowned AI companies that made it to the list alongside Terminus include Cambrian, Horizon Robotics, SenseTime, Fourth Paradigm, and Zhizhuo Huazhang.

The List Focuses on AI Computing Power and Algorithm Innovation

According to the official statement from Hurun Report, this list focuses on Chinese enterprises in the AI computing power and algorithm field, highlighting those who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the AI sector. 

The list excludes companies involved in embodied intelligence fields such as robotics, intelligent vehicles, and smart homes to ensure it fully reflects the true development status of Chinese AI enterprises. Additionally, some companies that excel in the AI field but do not have AI as their core business were also not included in the list.

Rupert Hoogewerf, Chairman and Chief Research Officer of Hurun Report, pointed out at the release event that AI is currently mainly seen as a tool, with its core value lying in expanding human capabilities. The companies on this list have significantly enhanced human capabilities in five areas: "brain, eyes, ears, hands, and legs". 

"Brain" represents AI computing power companies; "eyes" represent companies in the machine vision field, dedicated to image, video, and text recognition; "ears" refer to intelligent voice companies focused on speech understanding and natural language processing; "hands" are AIGC large model companies, helping people create music, generate images, write texts, etc.; and "legs" represent autonomous driving companies, aiming to improve travel efficiency and convenience.

In the coming years, as AI technology becomes more widespread and penetrative, the value of these AI companies is expected to far exceed our current expectations.
